Full Service Restaurants:
Here's what happens when an order is placed in a full service restaurant environment.
1.
Customer enters the full service restaurant.
2.
Employee greets the customer and seats them.
3.
The server takes the customers’ orders on a tablet or note pad.
4.
Server selects the customers’ table on the POS floor plan and enters each seat’s order.
5.
Order prints out in the kitchen or appears on kitchen displays.
6.
Food is prepared and provided to the server.
7.
Server brings the food to the table.
8.
After eating, customers pay, either at the cashier station, or at the table with a tablet and mobile PIN pad.
