If you are processing contactless payments using an Ingenico iPP320 PIN pad, please be aware that Visa, MasterCard, and American Express have recently mandated that all contactless (tap) payments be processed using Contactless EMV. See Visa’s reminder to customers: https://usa.visa.com/dam/VCOM/regional/na/us/run-your-business/documents/emv-newsletter-jan2019.pdf.
Stores that process contactless payments but do not use Contactless EMV are at risk of fines from the card brands. Worldpay will note any potential fines on your statement. An upcoming Worldpay update will enable EMV contactless payments for customers on the Worldpay Express platform. Read on for your options.
On January 1st, 2020, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) comes into effect. The Act is intended to give residents of the state of California more control over how their personal information is used by businesses.
Read on to see if this legislation applies to your restaurant business, and how to comply with it.
Monetra 8.11.1 has been released and is available for upgrade. This release contains no security fixes, but it does contain an update that is necessary for First Data (Datawire) customers in order to maintain functionality.
If you are a First Data customer, and have not updated to this release before Datawire releases their fix (the fix release date has not yet been announced), you will no longer be able to process credit cards until you update to Monetra version 8.11.1 or newer.

SpeedLine 7.3 Release 112 is available today.
This release includes changes from 7.3 Release R111. This release was not announced previously. Release notes for R111 are included below.
A security vulnerability has been found in a component used by the SonicOS operating system used in SonicWall firewall appliances. SonicWall has made a free patch available and strongly advises applying it immediately. If your SpeedLine network includes a SonicWall appliance (note that some of these appliances may be branded with the Dell name), read on for steps to secure it. This is a PCI-affecting security patch notification. If your network does not include a SonicWall, this advisory does not apply to you.
