Security Enhancements Coming to Worldpay:

Worldpay is removing outdated encryption ciphers from their processing platforms to improve payment security. These ciphers protect payment data from third parties, and this change will impact any store using Worldpay with EMV devices connected to stations running Windows 8.1 or lower.

Impact to Your Operations:

Stations not running Windows 10 or higher, your EMV devices will stop working once Worldpay completes this update. There is no confirmed date for this update—it may happen at any time.

Required Action to Avoid Service Disruptions:

All stations with EMV devices must be running Windows 10 or higher. We recommend upgrading to Windows 11, as Windows 10 will reach end of life on October 14, 2025 (Posiflex stations running Windows 10 IoT 2016 or higher will remain supported through October 2026).

Upgrade Options:

• Operating System Upgrade:If your hardware supports it, upgrade your system through Windows Updates or by contacting SpeedLine Support at 888-923-9185.
• Hardware Replacement:If your hardware cannot support Windows 10 or higher, new stations are available at our online store or by emailing aftermarketsales@speedlinesolutions.com.
