SonicWall has recently released updated firmware for their SOHO 250 and TZ270 firewall models to address a critical issue. The update resolves an improper access control vulnerability that was identified in SonicWall SonicOS management access and SSL VPN. This vulnerability could potentially lead to unauthorized access to resources, and in specific cases, may cause the firewall to crash.
Impact:
This vulnerability may affect locations configured for remote management via the internet (please note that this is not the default configuration for our SpeedLine deployments) or utilizing the SSL VPN functionality of the firewall.
Recommendation:
If your store is using either of these models, we recommend upgrading the firmware to ensure the patch is applied and your firewall remains secure.
