Credit Card Brand Limitations with Tender Surcharge

Some states have strict tender surcharge rules with specific credit card brands. SpeedLine now shows a warning message when using a credit card surcharge that communicates legal responsibility.

Support of Ingenico Lane/3600

SpeedLine will now support the Ingenico Lane/3600, replacing the existing Lane/3000 EMV device for Worldpay. The Lane/3600 is designed to:

• Ensure best-in-class transaction flow with an extensive contactless zone
• Integrate easily with retail environments due to its variety of accessories
• Provide a user-friendly, compact terminal for easy self-checkout
• Offer high security (PCI PTS v6)

Note: SpeedLine does not support the following features:

• Using the screen as a secondary display (i.e., show the line items and amount owing as the order is placed)

Support of Ingenico Lane/7000

SpeedLine will now support the Ingenico Lane/7000. This device offers an improved customer experience, with a large multimedia touchscreen, user-friendly HTML5 interface, and quick-easy payment options to improve the checkout process.

Enhanced security for merchants and their customers includes: 

• PCI PTS
• Optional PCI-compliant privacy shield
• Anti-theft lock

Note: SpeedLine does not support the following features:

• QR Code payment (device’s camera not supported)
• Signature capture (not required for chip or contactless payments)
• Using the screen as a secondary display (i.e., show the line items and amount owing as the order is placed)
