[Update] Recurring Issues with Windows 7 Updates?

Posted by SpeedLine Support on Jun 5, 2018 3:55:27 PM

If you have been disabling or rolling back Windows Updates on your Windows 7 stations to avoid issues with continuous restarts or network printing, please email Support to schedule a time for us to connect in and complete the skipped updates and stop the issues from recurring.

If you prefer to make the changes yourself, visit the Knowledge Base on support.speedlinesolutions.com, and search for the updated steps to: "Prevent continuous restarts (boot loop) after a Windows Update."

If you are continuing to experience recurring issues after Windows Updates, please email or call Support. As we noted in the previous Support Advisory, Microsoft has identified the specific configuration conflicts that are causing these issues, and we have a resolution that will fix the problem and stop it from happening again.

If you roll back the updates on your Windows 7 stations without implementing this fix, you will continue to have issues—so please schedule time with us to make the necessary changes.

We appreciate your patience in the time it has taken to unravel the multiple causes behind this issue with Windows Updates. If you have questions or need assistance, please call us at 1-888-923-9185.
