We are excited to celebrate an employment anniversary with two of SpeedLine’s very own. In today’s competitive job market, it’s unique to find employees who are committed to an organization for the long term. To have two members of the same team celebrating this accomplishment is a special occasion. Let’s take a look at two members of the customer service department who are making a 14-year splash with SpeedLine this summer.
Chris
Chris joined SpeedLine in 2006 as a Support Technician, building on his previous experience as a service manager in the computer industry. Chris made a tremendous impact on the level of customer service, addressing and resolving customer issues quickly. As a result of his continued performance success, Chris was promoted to Support Project Specialist in 2008. Today he is responsible for large customer-facing projects, as well as the mentorship of level-one technicians.
When asked what he most enjoys about working at SpeedLine, the answer came easily: “The people I work with”. His care for people and his community is apparent, as Chris is also a member of the Giving Committee at SpeedLine. He supports initiatives for the Abbotsford Food Bank, among others. In his spare time, Chris enjoys geocaching, skiing, curling and Scouting. We are so happy to have Chris as part of the team for ten years. Well done Chris!
Don
Don came to SpeedLine when he was already gifted at providing technical support to customers. This made it easy for Don to make his mark as a Support Technician with SpeedLine.
Over his ten years of service, Don has been integral to the team and has taken pride in his place of employment. When asked what he likes most about working at SpeedLine, he answered, “the feeling of family…knowing no matter what, that by walking through the doors, you know your day will be just fine.”
During his tenure, Don has proven his capacity to provide stellar customer service and now wears the Support Project Specialist hat. When Don’s not working, you’ll find him with Squish. Who is Squish, you might ask? Squish is Don’s race car! Thanks, Don, for all your hard work and commitment to the SpeedLine team!
