Valutec has announced a significant infrastructure upgrade to move gift card processing services to the Microsoft Azure Cloud environment. This migration will result in a temporary service outage for Gift Card users who utilize Valutec for gift card transactions.

During the following period, you will be unable to process gift card transactions, check balances, or perform any gift-related functions.

• Start Time: 1:01 a.m. ET (6:01 a.m. GMT)
• Estimated Duration: Approximately 8 hours

Impact on Your Business

While the migration is in progress, you will be unable to process gift transactions or perform any other gift-related functions.

Recommended Actions

1. Notify Staff: Ensure your front-of-house team is aware that gift cards cannot be accepted or sold during the Sunday morning window.
2. Signage: If you are open during the maintenance hours, consider placing a small notice at the POS to inform customers of the temporary gift card service interruption.
