If you are running a very old version of Monetra, you may have already heard from your bank that [major card processors plan to stop card processing effective July 1 on any platforms that do not support the TLS 1.2 security protocol](http://blog.goemerchant.com/tls-deadline-2018/).

Monetra added support for TLS 1.2 more than five years ago, with the release of v**ersion 7.11.1**.

If you are still running an older version of Monetra, please upgrade the Monetra software this week to ensure that you can continue to process credit card payments. Search the [SpeedLine Knowledge base](https://support.speedlinesolutions.com/Support/Knowledge-Base) for "Upgrading Monetra."

Reminder: For PCI compliance, always use the latest version of Monetra. The current version is 8.7.1.
